Changes... say Carbear and Ferdie.
Changes... say Carbear and Ferdie.
Yes, some changes on fantinesvoice.com are in order. Don’t you think Ferdie?
I’m with you Carbear. We really need to look at some of the basic issues of how folks can deal with life. Some of the down to earth subjects, like the steps they can take to really improve things. Maybe we can start with the twelve steps used in many of the recovery programs around the world.
Ferdie, we are both thinking alike. This is scary, but true. The twelve steps are a very straight forward way to be able to see more clearly how we interact with the world and the people in it. But most importantly we are able to see things in ourselves which without the help of others we simply could not see.
Yes, and it starts with a very simple but sometimes tough look at our reality. That is, we are really not in control of as much in the world as we would like to believe. Our ability to function as we do with all the luxuries many of us have and the conveniences, the abundant supply of food and shelter, all depend on others for the continued supply. And the reality is we have very little control over those who supply our essential needs.
And then, Ferdie, some of us get so dependent on certain things it is as if they take over our lives. If we can recognize these facts, we can then find a solution for this dilemma as well.
Yup, Carbear, we have our hands, I mean, paws full for the next few weeks. I think it is a good idea to examine carefully the entire process of the step approach to spiritual growth. From what I have seen it works very well for those who give it a whole hearted attempt.
OK, Carbear, until tomorrow...
